In this short note directly following G’s article ." in this same number of Gardner issued an appeal (in preparation for his article on Archangelsky) for any information about an edition of a collection of articles on music (sbornik) published in Prague, as he wrote, in 1930 or 1931. Gardner had published his own article on Archangelsky (Arkhangel’skii kak dukhovnyi kompozitor). The appeal concludes with the home address of the author Dr Johann v. Gardner, Augustenstrasse 16, 8 München 2 (West Germany). Alternatively he suggested that the reader contact the editors of Russkaia Mysl'. Note that the offices of the Institute for the Study of the USSR (which was known by various names) were located not far away at #44 Augustenstrasse until that Institute closed in the 1970s.
